Throughout 2025, the DTA will continue to support the charity Headway. Brain injury can challenge every aspect of your life - walking, talking, thinking, feeling - and the losses can be severe and permanent. We all think 'it will never happen to me', but every year around 350,000 people are admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury. That's one every 90 seconds.
Whether the result of a trauma, stroke, tumour, haemorrhage or infection - a brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. Headway is the UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury by providing vital support and information services to thousands of individuals and families each year.
The charity also campaigns to increase awareness and reduce the incidence of brain injury. But they couldn't do this without the generous support of organisations and their employees across the UK.
