Have you ever been asked to go into the clinic for shade taking? If you have or if you are CDT perhaps this article is for you. The NHS has a crucial role to play in helping people with a learning disability and autistic people to lead longer, happier and healthier lives. It can be very difficult to interact with patients who may find the experience of a dental check up very distressing. Therefore, It's important to understand that people with a learning disability generally have higher rates of health problems than the general population, and how best to communicate with these patients during their time of need.
