Entering the next phase of the Scope of Practice review
In June, the GDC will be holding a series of workshops with dental professionals and stakeholder organisations to help in the next phase of the Scope of Practice review. They will be dedicating a workshop to each of the dental professions, where there will be discussions with feedback on what the revised Scope of Practice guidance should look like and include.

GDC Update option to pay ARF by instalments
Last month the GDC announced a new pay by instalments option for the Annual Retention Fee (ARF), designed to support dental professionals who pay their own fee by enabling them to spread the cost over the year with quarterly Direct Debits.
This change has now come into effect, the timeframe for choosing this option is very short and you will need to log into your eGDC account and elect the quarterly Direct Debit option no later than 31 May.

Uchenna Okoye - Dentistry in the spotlight
