Delroy Reeves attended November's Dental Leadership Network event on behalf of the Dental Technologists Association, ensuring that dental technologists were represented within a key national leadership forum.
Convened by the General Dental Council, the Dental Leadership Network (DLN) brings together senior leaders, regulators and stakeholders from across the profession. The initiative is designed to foster open dialogue, strengthen collaboration, and address shared challenges facing dentistry across the UK.
Held at Woburn House in London, the November event provided an important opportunity for attendees to connect with peers and build relationships across the sector. For Reeves, the event offered valuable networking opportunities with a range of influential stakeholders, including Gillian Leslie in her new position as the Chief Dental Officer for Wales, supporting stronger links between dental technology and wider policy and leadership discussions.
The programme also included contributions from senior figures such as GDC Chair Helen Phillips, alongside broader discussions on current pressures within the profession and future priorities.
Attendance at forums such as the DLN forms part of the Dental Technologists Association's ongoing commitment to maintaining a visible presence within the wider dental landscape. By engaging with key stakeholders and decision-makers, the Association helps ensure that the role and interests of dental technologists are recognised within national conversations.
The DLN will continue its programme throughout 2026, with further meetings scheduled for June and November, providing ongoing opportunities for collaboration, engagement, and professional networking across the sector.
