The Dental Technologists Association (DTA) held its Autumn Council Meeting on 8th November 2025, bringing together both new and long-standing members to shape the organisation's strategic priorities for the coming year. The meeting was chaired for the first time by newly appointed President Joanne Stevenson, marking a confident start to her tenure.

In attendance were Deputy President Chris Fielding, Past President and now Liaison Delegate Delroy Reeves, and Council representatives Jade Ritch and Treasurer Tony Griffin. The Association also extended a warm welcome to newly elected Council members James Green, Raya Karaganeva, and Jo Clark, who participated in discussions as part of their first official Council session.

The Autumn Council Meeting focused on reviewing the Association's current initiatives, strengthening professional support for dental technologists, and setting a forward-looking strategy for 2026. Under President Stevenson's leadership, the Council engaged in constructive debate and collaborative planning, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing standards, improving member engagement, and advancing the profession through education and advocacy.

The DTA begins the year ahead with renewed energy, a diverse and capable Council team, and a clear strategic path, poised to continue its vital work representing dental technologists across the UK.
