Election of Members to the Dental Technologist Association (DTA) 2026

By DTA | 2nd February 2026 | News

DTA Council members are fully qualified and highly experienced dental technologists who volunteer their time to the Association out of a genuine commitment to their profession.

The Council is dedicated to advancing standards in dental technology and to ensuring that the value and importance of British dental technology are recognised across government and policy-making bodies in all four nations of the UK.

Council members support the Association and its membership in a variety of ways. This includes writing technical and CPD articles for DTA publications, The Technologist and Articulate with editorial support where required, as well as peer reviewing articles submitted by others to ensure they are accurate, relevant, and meet GDC requirements for verifiable CPD. All DTA CPD content is fully verifiable.

In addition, Council members represent the DTA at stakeholder meetings, attend Council meetings twice a year, and benefit from a strong professional support network of fellow experienced dental technologists. By working collaboratively, the Council explores, shares, and disseminates knowledge across different areas of practice and professional interest for the benefit of the wider DTA membership.

If this sounds like something you would like to be part of, we encourage you to find out more. To gain insight into the role of a Council member and to meet the DTA team ahead of the Council Elections (May 2026) prospective candidates are welcome to observe one of our upcoming Council meetings via Zoom. Please email your expression of interest to info@dta-uk.org

Further details, including the election notice, will be published in the February 2026 issue of The Technologist. Nomination forms must be returned to the DTA office by 1 May 2026.
