Job Vacancy: Experienced Dental Technician

Baycliff Dental Surgery is a small business in the heart of Liverpool. 

Due to rapid expansion and onsite developments, Baycliff Dental & Implant Surgery are seeking to recruit an experienced dental technician to join our ever expanding, amazing team. 

You will be using state of the art technology including 3D scanners and printers and other elements of digital dentistry as we continue to progress and develop. 

Our lab is ready for use, equipped with SprintRay printers and ExoCAD software, allowing for a full digital workflow. 

You will be GDC registered and ideally have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. 

You will be responsible for the operations management of our on-site facility, with support from our strong management team.

Area of specialisation: 

• Partial dentures 
• Smile Makeovers, including injection-mould stents and diagnostic wax-ups 
• Orthodontic appliances
•  Gold dies and goldwork 
• Full dentures 
• Crowns and bridges 
• Chrome castings 
• Ceramic or porcelain application 

Dental technical expertise: 

• Waxing-up 
• Polishing 
• Plastering 
• Packing Assembly

Dental technologists and technicians' specific skills: 

• Design, fabricate or repair dental devices 
• Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays 
• Prepare plaster models and moulds Polish and buff dentures 
• Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys 
• Finish metal framework of dentures 
• Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases 
• Mould wax over dentures set-up 
• Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures

Location: Liverpool 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent 

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Hours of work: 9:00-5:30pm Monday to Friday 

Experience: CAD CAM: 3years (preferred) Lab Technician: 3 years (preferred) 

Licence/Certification: Valid GDC registration (preferred) 

Work Location: On site in person
