Martyn’s Law and first aid in the workplace - 12 June

Employers and their colleagues across England are invited to join an exclusive LinkedIn Live this Thursday 12 June to discover how to embed Martyn's Law and first aid in workplace culture. A spokesperson provides more information.

Hosted by England's leading first aid charity, St John Ambulance, the free livestreamed event will feature an expert panel explaining what Martyn's Law means for organisations, how to build practical response plans and why the right training and equipment can make all the difference when lives are at stake, in the moment, and after the emergency.

WHY: Martyn's Law - officially titled the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 - is a landmark UK legislation designed to strengthen how public venues, workplaces and event spaces prepare for and respond to the threat of terrorism. Whether an organisation falls under the legislation or not, this LinkedIn Live event will help attendees understand what Martyn's Law means in practice.
