MHRA Response to DTA

By DTA | 7th January 2021 | News

The DTA contacted the MHRA asking for clarification on what is being asked of manufacturers of custom-made dental devices following their recent communication and we have today receive the following response:

Our old system has been decommissioned. If you have a registration number that begins with 'CA****, or IVD****' you need to re-register your details and devices on the new DORS system.

The Devices Agency Account on our new system means a single access point for using DR and CFS services rather than the two separate systems customers previously used. With a new Agency account, customers will also benefit from enhanced self-service functionality, improved user management, cleaner data and better usability.

To re-register on our new system please see full guidance, reference guides for our system and video tutorials on our website at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/register-medical-devices-to-place-on-the-market

Once your account request has been reviewed by MHRA you will receive email confirmation of the request outcome. If accepted, we will send you step by step instructions on how to use our new system.

Best regards,

Medical Devices Registrations Team
