New National Restrictions from 5 November: England

By DTA | 2nd November 2020 | News

It is not clear from the Government guidance whether or not dental practices can continue to operate, however it does says that:

'A number of public services will also stay open and you will be able to leave home to visit them. These include: the NHS and medical services like GPs. We are supporting the NHS to safely carry out urgent and non-urgent services and it is vital anyone who thinks they need any kind of medical care comes forward and seeks help...'

This does suggest that dental practices can remain open however it is vital that the whole dental profession are offered clear guidance to enable dental laboratories to manage their resources for continued or reduced levels of workload.

We are seeking clarification and will provide members with an update once received.
