GDC - New survey to understand on-going impacts of COVID-19 on dental professionals
By GDC | 18th October 2021 | News
GDC have commissioned new independent research, undertaken by Pye Tait, on the continued impacts of COVID-19 on dental professionals. This includes an online survey which has been emailed to all dental professionals. This work builds on the research carried out in 2020 and will seek to identify the changing impacts the pandemic has had on the profession and what implications this has for the future.
The research aims to understand emerging and ongoing impacts of COVID-19, including impacts on dental professionals' financial circumstances, mental health, and their ability to provide services to the public.
Your responses will help GDC, the wider sector and the public, to better understand the challenges you are facing due to COVID-19 and consider actions to help overcome them. GDC therefore encourage all dental professionals to take part in the survey which will be open until Friday 12 November 2021.
The findings of the research will be published on the GDC website in early 2022.
