One Week to Complete the GDC Renewal Process
By DTA | 24th July 2024 | News
As the renewal window for dental technologists and other Dental Care Professionals (DCPs) draws to a close next Wednesday, 31 July, the sector is reminded of the critical steps required for successful renewal. Dental technologists must ensure they have paid their Annual Retention Fee (ARF), declared their indemnity, and completed the required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours for the year.
The GDC have informed us that the response from DCPs has been positive, but there are still many who are yet to complete it.
The Dental Technologists Association is encouraging all members to complete their renewal on time. The completion of the working patterns survey, which is part of the renewal process, is particularly important as it provides valuable insights into the sector and supports future workforce discussions across the four nations.
Once the renewal window closes, DCPs will have until 28 August to submit their CPD statement.
