Professional Standards Authority consultation

DTA have received a letter from Alan Clamp, Chief Executive of the Professional Standards Authority, seeking feedback on how they review the performance of the health and care professional regulators that they oversee (including the NMC, GMC and GDC).

These reviews assess the performance of the regulators against the Professional Standards Authority's Standards of Good Regulation  which set out the outcomes that they expect regulators to achieve.

The Professional Standards Authority have launched a public consultation and will be seeking views until the consultation period ends on 4 March 2021. You can find their consultation paper and more information here .
