Reminder GDC strategic plan consultation closing 6 September

The GDC consultation on their strategic plans for the next three years will be closing on Tuesday 6 September. If you have an interest in the regulation of dental professionals, please review their plans and provide your views.

GDC strategic priorities are to keep building effective prevention strategies and operating a proportionate system for resolving concerns to further their ambition to shift the balance from enforcement to prevention. GDC will do this within their current regulatory constraints, and will continue to push for long awaited reforms.

Inflationary pressures are starting to take effect and affect us all. GDC have set out a new approach to fee setting to manage these financial risks. They are taking this step to ensure that they minimise impacts on dental professionals and give them as much certainty as possible while they continue to be a financially sustainable regulator.
