Exclusive Event for Dental Professionals with Simon Banner, Medit and Matthew Evershed, Trigiene
Birmingham, UK: 7th Feb 2026 - Dental professionals across the West Midlands are invited to an exclusive, hands-on - Medit and Trigiene CPD Masterclass, hosted by Birmingham Metropolitan College's Matthew, Boulton Campus, B4 7PS.
This transformative event offers unparalleled insight into the fabrication of advancements in digital dentistry utilisation of scanners and equipment, empowering delegates with the skills to elevate their dental practice.
Workshop Aim
The aim of this workshop is to provide dental professionals with a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to modern digital dentistry workflows, enabling them to confidently scan, design, manufacture, and evaluate a dental restoration using Medit intraoral scanning technology, Medit software applications, in laboratory and in- clinic manufacturing processes with Trigiene.
The workshop supports the development of practical digital competencies aligned with current and emerging clinical practice, enhancing delegates' understanding of efficient, accurate, and patient-centred restorative workflows. The session will also provide a great opportunity to connect with dental professionals, clinicians, and technicians, over a practical session and refreshments. This training is typically valued at around £750 but will be completely free for all registered attendees.

Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the workshop, delegates will be able to:
∙ Confidently participate in a complete digital restorative workflow, from scanning through to restoration.
∙ Demonstrate practical competence in intraoral scanning on prepared models
∙ Demonstrate and apply foundational CAD skills to design a prostheses such as a single-unit crown restoration
∙ Understand how digital tools such as Medit Link and Medit Apps support efficient clinical workflows
∙ Understand 3D printing experience and support with correct material selection for the manufacturing process with Trigiene.
∙ Critically evaluate the advantages and limitations of chairside digital manufacturing bring in real cases and scenarios.
∙ Recognise how digital dentistry can be implemented within clinical practice to improve workflow efficiency, communication, and patient outcomes.
Collaboration will involve:
∙ Evaluating technological challenges affecting business growth.
∙ Developing clear technology adoption plans to build SME capabilities to support with automation and CPD training.
