From 1 November in Scotland: New restrictions and revised SOPs for dentists
By DTA | 1st November 2020 | News
A new system of local protection levels have been introduced in Scotland from 1 November - Check the protection level for your area and find out what you can and cannot do under each level.
Also from today, 1 November, Dentists in Scotland can offer a full range of NHS treatments, whilst following the revised Standard Operating Procedures For Dental Teams in Scotland (SOPs) Moving towards a return to routine dental care, COVID-19.
The guidance will limit the volume of care that may be provided due to issues such as physical distancing, fallow time following AGPs and the use of enhanced PPE and therefore it is unlikely that dental laboratories in Scotland will receive 'normal' levels of work just yet.
