Although the full list of specific outlets may not cover Dental Laboratories specifically by name, being proactive is a good way to enhance personal safety
Check the governments current guidance for your own business or employment on maintaining records of staff, customers and visitors to support NHS Test and Trace.
Businesses must now ask every customer or visitor to scan the NHS QR code using their NHS COVID-19 app, or provide their name and contact details, not just the lead member of the group. This is to ensure that everyone receives the necessary public health advice in a timely manner.
The contact information to record, if not collected by a QR read code is:
- the name of the customer or visitor
- a contact phone number for each customer or visitor. If a phone number is not available, you should ask for their email address instead, or if neither are available, then postal address
- date of visit, arrival time and, where possible, departure time
- the name of the assigned staff member, if a customer or visitor will interact with only one member of staff. This should be recorded alongside the name of the customer or visitor

By supporting the official NHS QR code poster system, you'll be helping to protect your visitors and your business. You will help to slow the spread of the virus and help normal life to resume more quickly.
