Job Summary: 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to work independently while also being an enthusiastic team player. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical tasks, has a keen eye for detail, and communicates confidently with clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls with professionalism and clarity 
• Use computer systems confidently for data entry, case tracking, and communication 
• Assist in the fabrication of dental appliances, including retainers and other orthodontic devices 
• Cast impressions and prepare models for appliance construction 
• Block out models and prepare them for vacuum forming 
• Operate vacuum forming machines 
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment 
• Support technicians and other team members as needed

• Excellent manual dexterity and enjoyment of hands-on tasks 
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work 
• Confident verbal and written communication 
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software Desirable Experience 
• Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic laboratory 
• Experience casting impressions and preparing models 
• Experience using vacuum forming equipment 
• Knowledge or experience making dental retainers or similar appliances
