Windsor Framework Update

The UK Government has confirmed that the Windsor Framework will now come into effect on 1 May 2025, revised from the previous date of 31 March 2025.

The Windsor Framework is the updated agreement between the UK and the EU, which replaces parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol. This includes associated legal instruments such as statutory guidance.  

As part of the new arrangements, additional data will be required when sending goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland. The specific data needed will depend on the type of parcel movement.
