Hello and welcome to my July Blog
June has been a busy month generally and for DTA particularly.

The Dental Sciences Centre at the College opened in September 2017, as part of an extensive refurbishment of the Southgate Campus and includes state of the art resources such as decontamination room, processing and casting labs, as well as three dedicated specialist laboratories equipped with the lasted industry standard equipment.

On 21 June DTA's John Stacey attended a meeting of CoDTEI, kindly hosted by Cardiff Metropolitan University.
The group meets twice a year with the overarching aim to develop, continually improve and maintain input to dental technology education and training, and to improve liaison and collaboration with other organisations
The group was pleased to welcome Mike Wheeler who was able to update them on the progress of dental technology apprenticeships.
