Dental Technology is in exciting times with the emergence of digital dental technology and clinical dental technology, but there is also an ever-increasing number of challenges - not least the changes to ECPD and MHRA regulations from MDD to MDR. We keep members up to date on all the important information. Our voluntary management team regularly meet and continually influence and raise the profile of dental technology with decision makers including regulators, educational providers and various groups and we continue to be actively involved in various National initiatives, consultations, campaigns and activities.

All members of the DTA agree to the DTA Membership Terms and Conditions detailed below.
Membership is only open to individuals based in the United Kingdom or GDC registrants living overseas.
Membership payments are non-refundable. The subscription is valid for 12-months from the date of registration. If you joined, or renewed online since September 2020, membership is auto renewed each year on a 12 month basis. Members can manage their membership subscription including annual fee payments in their membership account by logging in. If you pay your membership renewal late, the date of your membership remains as the original date and the DTA will not extend the expiry date.
Professional indemnity insurance, exclusive to DTA members only, is an optional opportunity to apply for professional indemnity at a special discounted premium rate through a third-party partner. The indemnity cover is not included in the price of the DTA membership. If your DTA membership expires, your professional indemnity insurance will no longer be valid and a claim cannot be made.
By becoming a member of the DTA, you give your consent to the DTA to retain your details for a legitimate purpose in accordance with the 2018 General Data Protection Regulations to enable DTA to provide you with membership services. A copy of the DTA GDPR policy and your rights under these regulations is available upon request.
